• The MD-HX is a small low power portable converter encased in a solid robust aluminium case and does not contain a noisy fan. Allowing it to be used in almost any environment.
• Allows either of the HDMI or SDI outputs to be simultaneously sourced from either the HDMI or SDI input or the new 2K Motion Adaptive Scaling Engine.
• Professional 3G/HD/SD Test Pattern Generator with 41 selectable output formats and 58 test patterns including Luma and Chroma Zone-Plates.

• The 2K Motion Adaptive Scaling Engine can be driven by either the SDI or HDMI input, supports horizontal and/or vertical flipping.
• The 2K Motion Adaptive Scaling Engine can scale and/or frame rate convert between 245 input formats and 41 output formats.
• Internal precision is not fixed and increases as required (for example, 32–40 bits or greater) during operations such as scaling and colour conversion to maintain accuracy.
• Decimator Design has developed advanced proprietary scaling technology that surpasses conventional polyphase approaches, providing markedly improved sharpness, reduced aliasing, and superior overall image quality.
• The audio pairs in the SDI and HDMI outputs can be rearranged as required.
• Includes 4 x (3G/HD/SD)-SDI outputs, that allow it to be used as a 1 to 4 distribution amplifier. Output pair 1 can either be a copy of the SDI input (default) or the same as pair 2.
