My iPod trade-in Experience
Just thought of sharing my recent trade-in experience and learning. I tried 3 places: Epicenter at Whee Lock, a small start-up at Sunshine Plaza and Macshop at Funan.

Epicenter has a trade-in counter with a employee sitting there at certain hours. Because that guy is not the boss, he's not authorised to give you a good price even if your iPod is in good condition. They go by a price list and if I remember correctly, 1st and 2nd generation iPod fetches a higher value than 3rd generation because they are "rarer". My G3 iPod 15GB is probably about S$50 or less.

Small start-up at Sunshine is hopeless. It's run by 2 partners. The partner in charge of mobile definitely has more business sense and entrepreneurship. The other guy taking care of iPod doesn't have a clue about how he wants to run the business.

Finally I sold it to Macshop at Funan. I deal with the boss directly so he's able to appreciate that I have the original package in pretty good condition. He offered a good price which matches my expectation. The transaction is very smooth and friendly. Highly recommended if you ever need to trade-in. Hope this helps coz I've seen some posts previously on this trade-in topic.
